Baby Track, A Windows Baby Tracker Application

Having a newborn baby in your home for the first time can be quite the stressful situation. You have to keep an eye on the little thing 24/7 to make sure everything is all right.  We have covered baby monitors before to help you in that. Technology on the other hand has other uses, and one of them is to keep track of things electronically.

Why would you want to do that? There are a few reasons for that. It is usually more convenient than having pen and paper at hand to write things down manually. You also get statistics and a history right in the program without having to create one yourself.

Baby Track is a new application that can help you track the feeding, diapers and sleep phases of your baby.  The main interface displays three buttons that you need to click on whenever one of the activities start, and once again when it ends.

The program displays the last activity right in the main interface so that you know exactly when an activity started, ended, the entire duration and other information that are important. For feeding, it is the amount, for poo whether it has been dry, wet or both.

The timer, from the first click on the button starts to run from that moment on, so that you know exactly how much time has passed since the last time.

A click on the notepad icon allows you to add notes to the program which can help you remember important things that you think are important.

A click on the information icon displays the history of all activities sorted in the three tabs feedings, diapers and sleep. You can also add, edit or remove information manually from the menu.

Interested users can download and install the baby tracker from the author’s website. Baby Track runs only on systems if the Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 has been installed on the system.
